Cy’s Story

A silhouette of a woman to protect their identity

I honestly don’t know where I would be today without Storm’s Family Centre. They have played such a big role in my personal growth and journey as both a woman and a mother. They supported me in gaining my functional skills and helped me successfully complete my Level 3 in Health and Social Care – achievements I’m incredibly proud of.

On top of that, they provided free childcare for my baby, my child is 3 years old and has additional needs, which was a huge help, and allowed me to focus on my learning and goals without even worrying about costs. They’ve never asked for a penny – just offered kindness, patience and genuine care.

What means the most to me is how they were there during my darkest moments. When I was feeling depressed and overwhelmed, they took the time to listen, uplift me, and remind me of the strength I carry – especially as a mother. They gave me the confidence I thought I had lost and made me feel seen, heard and valued.

Storms Family Centre is more than just a service. Especially the wonderful lady, the one and only Marie, she is amazing, outstanding and wonderfully talented. She was never tired and always walked the extra miles to help, not only me but anyone who really needed it.

Storm’s Family Centre – they are a lifeline. They have helped me stand strong and build my career, and for that, I will always be thankful and grateful.

Thank you Marie, and God bless you always.. cy
